Prestige is Fight Your Zombie’s long-term accelerator. After hours of growing brain tanks, feeding your zombie, and fighting for coins, Simple Bricks Zombies lets you reset selected progress to enter the Void — a layered meta with multipliers that make the next run faster than the last. Prestige too early and you leave power on the table; prestige too late and you grind with flat returns.

What prestige does

Prestige is a deliberate soft reset. You trade current tiers of zombie stats, tanks, weapons, or machines for:

• Void currency or multipliers that apply to future runs
• Unlocks gated behind Void depth (new areas, machines, or fight modifiers)
• Faster return to your previous peak if you follow the standard spend path

Prestige badges: levels 1 through 7+

Fight Your Zombie displays prestige badges on player profiles tracking Void depth. At launch baseline, accounts show badge progression for at least seven prestige levels — each successful reset advancing your badge tier and signaling long-term incremental commitment. Badges are cosmetic status plus proof you understand reset timing; they do not replace upgrade order on reruns.

Use badges as a pacing guide:

• Levels 1–3 — learning reset keep/lose rules and rebuild speed
• Levels 4–5 — machines and lucky block timing integrated
• Levels 6–7+ — optimizing Upgrade Calculator payback and 2x luck hoarding

Future patches may extend beyond seven visible tiers — Changelog logs new badge thresholds when confirmed.

What the Void layer is

The Void is the post-prestige progression track. Think of it as a second graph on top of the starter plot: same core loop (brains → feed → fight → upgrades), but numbers are scaled and new upgrade lines appear. Players chase Void depth for leaderboard flex and for access to endgame automation similar to advanced farms and synthesizers covered in Machines.

When to prestige: green lights

Consider prestiging when most of these are true:

1. Coin income plateau — zombie upgrades no longer double fight payouts per hour spent.
2. Tank stability — brain tanks produce Shiny or Rainbow regularly, not just Normal trickles.
3. Void reward visible — the next Void node grants a multiplier larger than one more hour of current-layer grinding.
4. No imminent event — if 2x luck starts tomorrow, delay to farm lucky blocks unless Void bonus is massive.
5. Upgrade order exhausted — you followed zombie → tanks → weapons (Upgrade Order) and still feel stuck.

If only one item is true, keep grinding. Prestige is a power move, not an escape from learning the loop.

When to wait: red lights

Delay prestige if:

• You have not upgraded core zombie multipliers — Void reruns hurt more without that base knowledge.
• Machines mid-purchase would be wasted — finish synthesizer chains per Machine tier list.
• You are one affordable tank tier from offline doubling — check Offline Planner math first.

First prestige walkthrough

1. Bank coins and feed stockpile — spend down on high-ROI zombie upgrades if a reset clears them.
2. Open the prestige / Void UI and read keep vs lose lists carefully.
3. Prestige during a session you can play 30+ minutes after — reruns need active fights.
4. Reapply upgrade order: zombie → tanks → weapons on the new layer.
