Learn the core loop Simple Bricks Zombies built — and avoid common day-one mistakes.

Getting Started

Fight Your Zombie is a Roblox incremental simulator from Simple Bricks Zombies, live since 21 January 2026. You are not chasing story quests or PvP ranks — you are optimizing a loop that feels great when it clicks: grow brains in tanks, feed your zombie, fight it for coins, buy upgrades, and eventually prestige into the Void. This guide walks a new player through that loop without relying on promo codes (there is no code system yet) or risky scripts.

Watch the embedded video mid-page for a visual first session, then use the sections below as your checklist.

Install and join

Open the official Roblox experience from our Official Links hub or search “Fight Your Zombie” on Roblox. Allow the game to load fully before judging performance — simulators spawn many UI panels on first join. Link your Roblox account normally; never enter credentials on third-party “code” or “script” sites.

On join you should see your plot, brain tanks, a zombie to feed, and combat space where you fight the zombie for coins. If anything looks different after a patch, check the Updates Hub for layout changes.

The core loop in four steps

1. Grow brains in tanks

Brain tanks passively generate brains over time. Output continues while you are offline, which makes logout timing a real strategy — see Brain Tanks and the Offline Planner. Brains come in rarities: Normal, Shiny, and Rainbow, with higher tiers feeding more efficiently.

Early goal: fill every starter tank slot and upgrade tank speed before splurging on cosmetic weapons.

2. Feed the zombie

Collected brains go to your zombie. Feeding increases its power and unlocks higher coin payouts when you fight it. Running out of brains stalls the entire loop — if fights feel weak, the fix is usually more tank output, not more sword clicks.

The Free Brain guide lists legitimate ways to widen the pipe when tanks feel slow.

3. Fight for coins

Combat is the coin faucet. Click or auto-click the zombie during fight phases to convert fed brains into spendable currency. Coin income scales with zombie upgrades and weapon tiers, but community consensus ranks zombie upgrades first, then brain tanks, then weapons — detailed in Upgrade Order.

4. Buy upgrades and push prestige

Spend coins on zombie stats, tank throughput, machines, and weapons. When progress slows, prestige resets some layers in exchange for Void progression and long-term multipliers. Rushing prestige too early wastes potential; waiting too long feels like a grind. Prestige and Void covers timing signals.

First-hour checklist

  1. Place and upgrade starter brain tanks until output is steady.
  2. Feed the zombie whenever the tank bar fills — do not hoard Normal brains forever.
  3. Run fight cycles until you can afford the first zombie upgrade tier.
  4. Open the shop and buy zombie upgrades before flashy weapons.
  5. Skim Codes Hub so you do not waste time on fake Hunty Zombie strings.
  6. Bookmark Guides Hub for machines and lucky blocks once coins flow.

Machines and mid-game hooks

After the basics, machines expand automation: starter plot tools, advanced farms, and synthesizers that compress grind into fewer clicks. You do not need them minute one, but knowing they exist prevents mis-spending early coins. Read Machines when fights feel easy but brain supply lags.

Lucky blocks add spike rewards during luck events — often announced alongside 2x luck updates. Save openings for boosted weekends when possible.

Game passes: buy later, not first

Robux passes like OP Auto Clicker (149 R$), VIP (599 R$), Super Sword (999 R$), and Super Machine (999 R$) can speed grinding but are optional. See Game Passes for value notes. Free players can reach Void prestige with the same loop; passes mainly save time.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Chasing fake codes — no redemption UI exists; see How to Redeem.
  • Maxing weapons before zombie stats — lowers coins per minute for hours.
  • Ignoring offline tanks — log out with full tanks when upgrading logout multipliers.
  • Prestiging on impulse — confirm Void gains on Prestige guide.
  • Using unverified scripts — read Scripts Safety first.
